WORKING PAPER — MARCH 2026

The SADI Philosophy

On the decarbonization of Argentina's national interconnected system, the democratic imperative of open data, and the design of interfaces that serve every stakeholder of the energy transition.

"Electricity is the easiest sector to decarbonize. By cleaning the SADI grid, we provide a clean fuel for the entire economy—from Patagonia's mines to the households of Greater Buenos Aires."

The energy sector accounts for approximately 53% of Argentina's greenhouse gas inventory — more than agriculture, land-use change, waste and industrial processes combined.

Unlike agriculture or LULUCF, electricity generation can be shifted to zero-carbon sources — wind, solar, hydro, nuclear — within a single investment cycle.

A decarbonized grid then becomes the foundation for electrifying transport, heating, and industrial processes — cascading reductions across every other sector.

§ 2 Data as a Public Good
Powered by Law 27.275
Derecho de Acceso a la Información Pública

Every data point displayed on this platform originates from public institutions — CAMMESA, the Secretaría de Energía, and the Tercer Informe Bienal de Actualización. Under Argentine law, this information belongs to the citizens. We do not gatekeep; we illuminate.

DATA SOURCES
CAMMESA — Real-time dispatch & generation
Secretaría de Energía — Annual energy balances
3rd BUR (UNFCCC) — National GHG inventory
INDEC — Demographic & economic context
The Data Science Manifesto

This is a project of Open Science.

Data is the infrastructure of the 21st century.

Transparency is not just a right; it is the catalyst for efficiency and innovation.

Every chart, metric, and projection in NetZero AR is reproducible. The methodologies are documented; the assumptions, explicit. We invite scrutiny because scrutiny improves the model.

§ 3 Stakeholder Map

NetZero AR was designed with three distinct audiences in mind. Each of the platform's interfaces serves at least one of these constituencies — and several serve all three simultaneously.

Citizens
Individuals & Households

Empowering households to understand their energy footprint, compare appliance efficiency, and simulate rooftop solar potential — turning passive consumers into informed participants of the energy transition.

PRIMARY INTERFACES
The Green Shift— Solar simulator, appliance swap, EV
Junior Explorer— Energy education for families
Grid Insights— Accessible reporting on performance
Command Center— Real-time visibility
Industry
Exporters & Compliance

Providing the granular emission-factor data and compliance documentation that Argentine exporters need to navigate the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and optimize procurement under environmental constraints.

PRIMARY INTERFACES
CBAM Hub— Emission factors, CN code tracking
Monthly Reports— Audit-ready documentation
API Terminal— Programmatic access for ERP
Demand Forecast— Predictions for procurement
Policymakers
Regulators & Planning

Delivering the strategic overview and historical context that regulators and planning bodies require to assess grid performance, evaluate infrastructure investment, and design evidence-based energy policy.

PRIMARY INTERFACES
Generation Analytics— Capacity factors, trends
Historical Data— Archive with regional granularity
Command Center— SADI operational snapshot
System Settings— Methodology notes & configs

NetZero AR is neither a commercial product nor a government initiative. It is an independent analytical platform built on the conviction that transparent data accelerates decarbonization.
